What I admire in him it's his approach to the game and the mentality that he brings every night and every shift. He always plays hard and delivers the big hits on the opponent and get under the opponent skin. With his physical game, he always disrupts the other team offensive game because they always need to see where he is on the ice and to predict when the big hit will come. He plays controlled defense and doesn't makes mistakes and always navigate the defense during the games.
You can see in his game his devotion and passion to the game and also his desire to win. He is always bringing everything to the ice and to the game, he plays with his heart and soul to help Toronto win games. You can see in his game that he is obligated to Toronto success and will do everything that he can to accomplish it.

I think that in addition to what he brings to the defense that it's crucial also his leadership skills are vital for the organization. The young kids are looking up to him, and his mentality and experience are essential for the development process of this young and talented players. He always talking to the young players and share his experience with them and help them improve their games, by that he always give them tips on what they need to do better during the game. He enlightens them to the mistakes that they doing and how can they improve and avoiding them, or if he sees missed plays or small thing that can help them to play better.
Also in the offensive zone, he is dangerous, and he scored a lot of timely goals that ignite the offense in a lot of games. He has a good shot and accurate one.

In my opinion, he is underrated, and he is one of the top defensemen in the league. He is one of the best players and cornerstones of the team. He is a fantastic player that has a lot of skills on defense and offense. I think that he is a complete player that contribute a lot to Toronto and he is a crucial piece in the Toronto system and in the team. He is a great defenseman and a leader in the organization, he is a role model for the young players and helps them reach their potential. He is a crucial piece in the defense lines of Toronto, and his experience is vital for the development of this young core of fantastic players.

I was delighted to read that Toronto has signed him to a multi-year contract. I think that it's a very smart by the management to have success in the future, he is a vital and crucial part of the defense and in the organization. He brings a lot of leadership and experience that will help the young players to develop their game and aid them to be the great player that I know they can be.

Auston Matthews

In this blog, I want to talk about Auston Matthews who is a rookie that came this year to the league. He is on the Toronto Maple Leafs, taking the league by storm and is only 19 years old. Even though he is an American, I will write a blog for him because he plays for Toronto, that is my team for life. This is probably not the only blog that I will write about him in his career. There will be more in the future. He is blessed with amazing skating skills and abilities. He has an amazing speed that makes him very dangerous in the offensive zone. He can scores goals anytime and you need always to keep track of where he is on the ice. Now he is in a little of drought in scoring goals but I am sure that he will bounce back soon. He is leading the team and with Mitch Marner and JVR, they are making an amazing front line that makes Toronto a high scoring team and very dangerous. They are the first line and in my opinion one of the most dangerous combinations in the league. The other li...

Eastern Conference next year

In this post, I would like to talk about how I see the eastern conference which Toronto is part of it. As I was reading the writers and saw the trades that the teams did and also the players that they lost to Vegas team. I think that they conference more open than it was last year. Don't get me wrong; I still believe that Pittsburgh, Washington, Rangers, and Columbus have amazing teams and I predict that they will be at the top of the conference and I won't be surprised if they will be in a separate group far from the rest of the conference. These teams have a caliber roster that is better than the other teams. I think that these teams are the best of the conference and will take the top spots in the conference and the standing. In my opinion, the rest of the conference is open. Montreal, Boston, Tampa Bay, Philadelphia has become weaker, but Ottawa stated the same and didn't lose key players. Toronto has a fantastic core of young talented players which i...

Concluding the playoff and a look at the summer

In this blog, I want to conclude Toronto playoffs any my thoughts of what they need to do in the summer. Also, my opinion on how the need to look next year. Playoffs Toronto has lost to Washington 4-2 which most of the games went to OT, there were games that Toronto has led but still lost. I think that take into an account that for most of the players on the team it was their first appearance and Washington was the best team in the league, that it was an incredible achievement and they deserve all the praise on their performance. They played most of the series as equal to Washington, and you couldn't see that it's their first time in the playoffs, they competed hard and got a great experience that will help them in the future. I loved watching them play with the same passion and intensity that they played all year, Babcock made a fantastic job like he did all season to guide this young team and to inspire them every night. He gave them the confidence that they nee...
