Eastern Conference next year

In this post, I would like to talk about how I see the eastern conference which Toronto is part of it. As I was reading the writers and saw the trades that the teams did and also the players that they lost to Vegas team. I think that they conference more open than it was last year. Don't get me wrong; I still believe that Pittsburgh, Washington, Rangers, and Columbus have amazing teams and I predict that they will be at the top of the conference and I won't be surprised if they will be in a separate group far from the rest of the conference. These teams have a caliber roster that is better than the other teams. I think that these teams are the best of the conference and will take the top spots in the conference and the standing. In my opinion, the rest of the conference is open. Montreal, Boston, Tampa Bay, Philadelphia has become weaker, but Ottawa stated the same and didn't lose key players. Toronto has a fantastic core of young talented players which i

Toronto off-season signings

In this post, I want to talk about the signings that Toronto has made during the summer and the addition of the three veteran players. I already spoke of the Patrick Marleau signings in Toronto, so I will focus on the other signings. Toronto has extended the contract of the core of the young talented players as the extended Zach Hyman and Tylor Bozak which in my opinion is a brilliant move, but in Bozak case, the extension is too long and too much. They had great success last year, and in my mind, this is an incredible core of young players that will lead Toronto to success in the next few years. The chemistry that they have with each other and their passion for the game are amazing qualities which are fun and exciting to see them play. I think that this core of young and talented players should stay in Toronto and the management should do everything to keep them. Also in another two years, they should sign Matthew, Nylander, and Marner to a long term deal because their contract

The signing of Patrick Marleau in Toronto

In this blog, I want to talk about Patrick Marleau signing with Toronto to a three-year contract. What I think of this move and how it will affect the team next year and in the next three years. In my opinion, this is a huge signing that the Leafs will only benefit from. I was reading a couple of comments of fans that said that he is too old and that Toronto agreed to too much money but Personally, I think that they are wrong.  It's true that he is 38 and not a young player, but he still has a lot of skills and talent that makes him a dangerous player in the league. In my opinion, he still has a couple of years to play and to contribute to the game of hockey before he will retire as one of the best and will get into the Hall of Fame. I think that he is worth every dollar that Toronto paid him and he will be a great addition to this franchise. I believe that Toronto will only benefit from this move in two aspects. One aspect is that they are getting a player that is one of

Concluding the playoff and a look at the summer

In this blog, I want to conclude Toronto playoffs any my thoughts of what they need to do in the summer. Also, my opinion on how the need to look next year. Playoffs Toronto has lost to Washington 4-2 which most of the games went to OT, there were games that Toronto has led but still lost. I think that take into an account that for most of the players on the team it was their first appearance and Washington was the best team in the league, that it was an incredible achievement and they deserve all the praise on their performance. They played most of the series as equal to Washington, and you couldn't see that it's their first time in the playoffs, they competed hard and got a great experience that will help them in the future. I loved watching them play with the same passion and intensity that they played all year, Babcock made a fantastic job like he did all season to guide this young team and to inspire them every night. He gave them the confidence that they nee

Nazem Kadri

In this blog, I want to talk about Nazem Kadri which is a defenseman in Toronto hockey team which in my opinion, is a fantastic player and a great leader. What I admire in him it's his approach to the game and the mentality that he brings every night and every shift. He always plays hard and delivers the big hits on the opponent  and get under the opponent skin. With his physical game, he always disrupts the other team offensive game because they always need to see where he is on the ice and to predict when the big hit will come. He plays controlled defense and doesn't makes mistakes and always navigate the defense during the games. You can see in his game his devotion and passion to the game and also his desire to win. He is always bringing everything to the ice and to the game, he plays with his heart and soul to help Toronto win games. You can see in his game that he is obligated to Toronto success and will do everything that he can to accomplish it. I think that i

William Nylander

In this blog, I will want to talk about William Nylander which is a rookie in Toronto Maple Leaf. with Auston Matthews and Mitchell Marner and Zack Hyman, they are taking Toronto to an amazing success. But this blog I will talk only on William Nylander. He is being overlooked during most of the season because of the success of the other rookies in Toronto. But he has always delivered and a lot of times while Matthew and Marner were in a slump, he carried the team in scoring. He is doing all the little things that the teams need to get the wins. He also has an amazing ability to make the perfect pass to put his teammate in a scoring position, even in tight traffics on the offensive zone. He can handle the puck very well and has great scoring abilities that make him very dangerous in the offensive zone, especially near the net. I think that he has amazing skills and abilities that make him a star in Toronto and in the league. He will only get better and will emerge as a superst

Conclusion of the 2017 season

In this blog, I want to conclude the year of Toronto and the second year of the rebuilding process that Toronto started last year. Toronto is in a 5-year rebuilding process that started last year and you can start to see the fruits of it, They are having an amazing year despite that most of the team is rookies. I think that the management and Babcock are doing an amazing job of building the team on the young core of talented young players, adding during the year some veteran players with a lot of experience that will teach them. I also love about all the trades that they did during the season, of signing Boyle and Fehr who are great veteran players with a lot of playoffs and NHL experience which will help the team, They also didn't tempt to do a big trade in order only to get into the playoffs, even though Toronto is in excellent position to reach the playoffs despite their young and inexperienced team. In the end, it paid off because Toronto made the playoff and kept thei
